This village was established on the farm Koffiekuil in 1892. It was named after the Dutch Reformed minister Rev. H.J. Luckhoff. An important source of income in the Luckhoff district is merino sheep farming. This small idyllic town offers you beauty and tranquillity that could only force you to change pace and leave the rush of the city behind. The unique succulents found in this area fit in perfectly with the beautiful surroundings of the Van Der Kloof Dam.
